I feel so strongly about mathy and its benefits. It is easy to dismiss the subject if you find it difficult but I was just thinking about more benefits, on why math(s) is important for your child; and every child. I thought I would share some more with you 🙂 I also shared some from my previous blog; it is here if you didn’t see it already.
(You can forward this to anyone else you know that you think might benefit from knowing this for their child).
– They will have opportunities to stand out in the spotlight in schools, militaries, colleges, and firms.
– They will learn how to bounce back from failure or setbacks and realise that most are temporary, as long as they keep going.
– They will learn different ways of solving problems and exploring positive options. This relates directly to real life too. Math(s) ignites curiosity, a very useful life skill.
– They will develop self-belief by working towards right answers and cross-checking by working back, checking that everything is right. Now, that’s math(s) confidence (and discipline) in a nutshell!
Can you think of any other ways in which math(s) benefits us? I would love to hear about your ideas too!
If you would like to know more about how I can help you and your family with math(s); you can book a (free) session to chat with me here.
