BeGenio is very lucky to have three Kickstart placements working alongside us and one of them, George Connolly, went along to the London Toy Fair this week to help spread the word about our games and resources.
He wrote the following and we are very happy to share his thoughts about that day:
“The Toy Fair held at Olympia in Central London this week gave me a great opportunity amid working from home to meet Grace, the founder of BeGenio, who I’ve been working alongside for two months, in person for the first time.
Talking to her about our ideas made me feel very lucky to be working at BeGenio – the company’s passion for helping kids learn and overcome their maths anxiety is clear not only through the products they make but their founder and how open she and the rest of the staff are to new ideas and opportunities to help more people.
Playing Race to Infinity, BeGenio’s flagship innovation in learning maths at home and in the classroom, lived up to the hype. It is extremely fun and both intuitive and useful as a way of learning. With simple rules and exciting gameplay, Race to Infinity is the sort of thing I wish I had in maths class when I was in school.
It was a great week – we shared a lot of ideas, and the future is looking bright and energetic for BeGenio!
